Hey Everyone!
July 2012 proved to be the best month to date for the blog.

There were 4,376 total reads, plus a significant increase in comments and shares.

The new Pentecostal-Charismatic series did very well and I will continue to publish new items in this series over the coming months. If there is a specific topic you would like to see addressed in this area, please let me know either by leaving a message in the comment section or through the contact link at the top header. I will do my very best to address as many as I can.

Here are the top five posts for July –

1. Church Design, Empty Spaces and the Loss of Symbol

2. Heaven and the Afterlife

3. 10 Questions for the North American Pentecostal Movement

4. Pentecostal Spirituality: Are We Creating a Culture of ‘Encounter Addicts’?

5. Making Room for the Intellect and Emotions Within Pentecostalism: A Call for Discernment (Guest Post by Dr. Bradley Noel)

Hi Jeff, Now I know this is not strictly a “Pentecostal” focus, but I do know it is very important. How can we as followers of the Lord, gain a better understanding of the aspects and power of prayer. I recently expereinced “prayer covering” during an illness and then when I was seen “recovered” so to speak, the very next day I was quite ill once more. (I asked people if they had stopped praying . . and they had!!!!! It was an interesting moment and it brought home to me how important prayer really is. But do I understand the process? I don’t think so. I know I’m not the only one. But What IS prayer? What about my “sentence” prayers when I think of someone. Is that important? It’s an area I think many people don’t think about seriously enough. How can we be more effedtive pray-ers?
