Chuck Colson

1931-2012

Perhaps my first personal experience reading anything from Chuck Colson came in my college days during a class on the Church. Titled at the time simply, The Body (now Being the Body), the book had a deep and moving impact on my understanding of and appreciation for the Church global and local. I still have that book in my library and will for many years to come.

I watched this television interview from 100 Huntley Street back in September 2011 and enjoyed listening to his stories and commentary about his life experiences during the Watergate scandal, his conversion to Christianity, prison ministry and the place of the Church in culture. So, I thought I would share these clips with you as a way of honoring his life and legacy.

Thank-you, Mr. Colson, for your contribution to the Church and world. May your influence live on in your writings and through the countless lives you’ve touched all around the world.
